Graze Restaurant has got to be one of Mt. Pleasant’s best kept secrets. I had lunch there today and discovered their delightful menu to be divine. I had the House Roasted Turkey “BLT”. Rosemary roasted turkey, apple smoked bacon, and fried green tomatoes with arugula and a pink peppercorn mayo all on thinly sliced sourdough. Talk about heavenly. It was just the right combination of turkey, crispy bacon, tomato, mayo and bread. I hate eating a sandwich with thick bread to where it feels as though all you get is a mouthful of bread. This was so completely the opposite. The turkey was fresh and thinly sliced with the crunch of the fried green tomato, oh how I love the South. The lunch menu as a whole had something for everyone from Kimchi and Pork Stew, Roasted Leg of Lamb “Gyro”, to Jump Lump Crabcake with a honey-Tabasco mayo. With those choices you cannot go wrong! I am eager to return to try the dinner menu. It contains a variety of fresh salads, divine seafood and juicy lamb. Check out the Charleston City Paper Review and Comments.
